Testimonials
Karen Quillen possesses the unique ability to acknowledge and foster
the intention of each dog-human pair she encounters.
She enables the canine and its human counterpart
to develop a relationship based on trust and confidence, where truly “all
things are pawssible.”
I have developed a higher level of appreciation and understanding
of not only my dogs, but also myself because Karen explains how
to and empowers me to think like a dog. The two-legged and four-legged
creatures at our foranimalsfarm are very happy since we
have participated in classes at All Things Pawssible.
I highly recommend Karen and her facility to anyone who wants to
enhance the natural partnership that can exist between themselves
and their dogs.

Winston Breeden
Winston came from Ontario California. My husband
got him for me in 1998 for Christmas. Winston
had me at Hello. I feel in love with him
instantly. Whatever Winston wanted Winston got. He was truly
as the say “spoiled rotten”.
In 2002,
I started bringing Winston to All Things Pawssible.
I was so excited that there was a place where
I could take my dog during the day and I knew
he would be taken care of. Karen and Sean are the best. I would
not know what to do without them.
In November of 2003, I got another puppy from
the same breeder in California. Winston was
not happy. He became very aggressive towards
the puppy and one night he even gave her a
bloody nose. She was okay but that sealed the
deal—Winston needed training. He was out of
control. Since Winston had gone to daycare,
I knew they did a little informal training
during daycare, “Off,
leave it, down”.
So, when it came time
for Winston to be trained I did not have to
think twice. I called Karen and explained to
her what I was dealing with. Karen and I had
some one-on-one trainings with Winston. After
one session with Karen, Winston learned how
to “leave
it”, sit-stay, down
and walk on a leash properly.
Before we trained
with Karen, Winston would maul your hand to
get food. We had to throw it at him. Now he
takes it with a soft mouth. Winston can even
do a trick. Through a command he can take a
bow. Thanks to Karen at All Things Pawssible
I now have a dog that I am not ashamed to go
out in public with. People actually tell me
what a good dog I have.
Whether your dog is
out of control or just needs some formal training.
You don’t
need to look any further than All Things Pawssible.
If Karen can turn Winston into a good dog,
She can help any dog be a well-trained dog.

Ginger
ATP
has literally been a godsend for Ginger, my 2 ½ year
old yellow Labrador retriever, and me. After a year
and a half of taking numerous training courses, including
private consultations, I still had not been able to find
a solution to Ginger’s apparent “aggressive” behavior
towards me when she couldn’t get her way or when I
was trying to leave for work.
I had finally made the
very hard decision to give her up to Lab
Rescue and had only one more step to go through before signing
the papers. That
last step was taking her to the SPCA to have her temperament
evaluated. When she passed the temperament test with
flying colors, the SPCA recommended I try ATP.
Since
Ginger started going there she has stopped
all of her aggressive behavior and is a happy,
happy dog, which makes me a very happy owner. It turned
out that Ginger was being aggressive because
she wasn’t getting enough attention, exercise and socialization
with other dogs – understandably, she was unhappy being
left alone for the 9-10 hours I was away
at my job every day. She goes to ATP every Tuesday
and Thursday and it is her absolute favorite
place. Now
she can tolerate very well being home and
alone on the off days.
I
am so grateful that I was able to find
this place that made it possible for me
to keep Ginger and keep
both of us happy. I’m extremely impressed with
how ATP is run by Karen and Sean. There is always at
least one person in a room among all the
dogs so that they can deal with any wayward
behavior immediately. They
are extremely knowledgeable and quickly
learn all the personality quirks of each
individual dog. The
place is kept immaculately clean – any
mess is immediately cleaned up. Considering that there
can be 30+ dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds
and ages at any one time, it’s amazing how quiet it
can be (i.e. not a lot of barking) with
the dogs just busy playing with each other,
fetching balls, or lazing on the old beat-up
sofas & chairs.
